Business apps

Activate the capabilities your business actually uses.

Twenty-one applications across ten groups, all running on the same Core OS. Switch on the two or three that cover your hardest workflow, and add the rest when the business needs them.

How it works

An app is switched on, not installed.

Because the Core OS is already holding your companies, users and master data, an app has everything it needs the moment it is activated.

  1. Step 1

The Core OS is in place

Companies, branches, users, roles, customers, suppliers, items and warehouses exist before any app does.

  2. Step 2

    You activate an app

It reads the records that are already there. No separate data set, no import, no second copy of your customer list.

  3. Step 3

    It connects to the rest

Its documents and events are visible to every other active app, so a workflow can run straight through them.

What they share

Twenty-one apps, one set of records.

The catalogue above is not twenty-one products that integrate with each other. It is twenty-one views onto the same Core OS, which is why a sales order can become a dispatch and then an invoice without leaving the platform.

What the Core OS holds

FAQ

Questions about the apps.

Which apps should we start with?

Whichever cover the workflow that costs you the most today. For most trading and distribution businesses that is sales, inventory and dispatch; for importers it usually starts with trade and logistics. We work that out with you before anything is switched on.

What does it take to add an app later?

Configuration rather than migration. The customers, suppliers, items and warehouses the new app needs are already in the Core OS, so the work is setting up how your business wants the app to behave, not moving data into it.

Do the apps work if we only activate some of them?

Yes. Each app is useful on the Core OS alone. Activating more of them adds connections between them — a dispatch that draws on a sales order, an invoice that draws on a dispatch — rather than being a requirement for either to work.

Can an app be adapted to how we work?

Workflows, approvals, roles and document rules are configuration, so a good deal of how an app behaves is set per business. Anything beyond that is scoped as part of implementation — talk to us with the specific requirement.

Not sure which apps you need?
